Tested, Working Apple Macintosh A9M0106 External 800KB Floppy Disk Drive

This unit has been disassembled, cleaned, serviced, lubricated and works perfectly! The disk drive reads, writes, formats and ejects single-sided  (400 KB) and double-sided (800KB) floppies perfectly. 

Cosmetically, the drive is in like-new condition with no cracks or chips and barely any yellowing. All four rubber feet are still present and in good shape.

These external disk drives make it much easier to run programs on many floppy-only Macs by stopping the endless disk swapping and giving your internal drive a break! 

Note: This drive is not compatible with the original, non-upgraded, 128K Macs. Make sure that it’s compatible with your model before buying!

This drive was released with the Apple II GS and is a platinum color. The drive is in excellent cosmetic condition and comes with the user manual (note: the manual has a name on the cover which was scribbled over). The manual seems to be in like-new condition and does not seem to have any writing or highlighting on the pages.

Despite the drive having been fully tested, it is over 30 years old and as such, I cannot guarantee continued functioning. It is being sold as is with no returns.
