Serviced, working Apple Macintosh M0130 400KB Floppy Disk Drive - Mac 128k/512k

This rare 400KB external floppy drive has been disassembled, dusted, cleaned, serviced, lubricated and is working perfectly! The disk drive reads, writes, formats and ejects single-sided, 400KB, floppies perfectly. Cosmetically, the drive is in very nice condition with no cracks, no chips and very little yellowing. All four rubber feet are still present and in good shape.The drive's sheet metal shield is missing, however, the drive works perfrctly (this is a piece of sheet metal which covers the top of the disk drive).

You will receive exact items as shown:

- M0130 External 400 KB floppy drive

- Two 400k Floppy Disks containing Mac System 1.1 and 3.2 (disks are a copies and not Apple original) to get you booted. The disks were created on this drive and booted on both this drive and a Mac 128k internal drive.

Please note that floppy media is old. These drives are old. You may have some floppy disks that simply will fail to initialize; this is an unfortunate side-effect of retro computing.

The drive is ready to plug-in and use right away.

These external disk drives make it much easier to run programs on the 128k and 512k Mac's – by stopping the endless disk swapping and giving your internal drive a break!

Despite the drive having been fully tested, it is almost 40 years old(!) and as such, I cannot guarantee continued functioning. It is being sold as is with no returns.
