Macintosh SE/30 - Missing the logic board - restored/repaired/tested/working

This Macintosh SE/30 was "battery bombed" and has been professionally and meticulously restored, repaired and tested. Great unit to be used as a host for a working SE/30 logic board or as a donor for many WORKING parts (analog board, CRT, power supply, floppy drive, SCSI  hard disk, case, etc.).

This lot does NOT include the SE/30 logic board.

The case is in good condition for its age. Other than some light use marks, it doesn't exhibit any cracks, broken parts, pry marks, stickers or sticker residue. 

The analog board and power supply have been checked and all voltages are correct. The high voltage solder joints on the analog board have been reflowed.

The CRT is in great condition without scratches or burn-in. When tested, the image was sharp and clear. The brightness control works as intended.

The floppy drive has been restored. It has been disassembled, cleaned and lubricated. The eject gear (which tends to disintegrate after many years) has been replaced by a custom made 3D-printed gear. The drive has been tested and works flawlessly: reading, writing, formatting and ejecting floppies.

The 800MB SCSI hard disk is in working order. It has been verified without any single error being reported (see photos).

The metal frame was corroded by the exploded battery and has since been sand blasted and treated with a liquid rust inhibitor.

The metalized Mylar EMI shield had a small part damaged by the battery bombing, but is otherwise in good condition.

Everything has been tested and confirmed working: sound, brightness control, voltages, internal floppy drive and internal  hard disk.

This lot includes the SE/30 case, the analog board, the power supply, the floppy drive, the 800MB Quantum SCSI hard disk, the floppy cable, a hard disk cable and the EMI shield. Note 1: the SE/30 logic board is NOT INCLUDED in this lot. Note 2: the small expansion bracket and its 3 screws are missing. Note 3: the battery bombing seems to have only affected the metal frame and the EMI shield - I do not see any trace of corrosion elsewhere.

Despite this lot having been extensively tested and found to be fully functional, it IS over 30 years old technology and as such, there is no guarantee offered, or implied, for continued functioning. This lot is being sold as-is with no returns accepted.

This is an Ideal solution for replacing a damaged SE/30 case, a good source of working parts or a new home ready to accept your working SE/30 logic board!
